New Legacy Homes is committed to giving back to our community by hosting local events to benefit our region and those who are less fortunate.
During our annual Design Center Event 2019, New Legacy Homes Family Foundation supported the Southeastern Guide Dogs organization over wine tasting, painting, and petting puppies. We welcomed the pups into our studio design center, and they were overjoyed with the amount of love and attention they received from our guests.
Not only were guests provided with a glass or two of wine, but we also offered them gourmet tapas and a priceless chance to give back to the community. Our event was deemed a success as we are proud to announce that we were able to raise $5,000 for the Southeastern Guide Dogs organization.
Southeastern Guide Dogs provides students, veterans and people with disabilities with the life-changing opportunity of living life with the world’s top-trained guide dogs by their side. Their dogs can help the visually impaired, those who are suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder and other significant challenges.
Southeastern Guide Dogs has transformed lives by nurturing unforgettable relationships between their puppies and their owners. Each pup is trained to the highest pedigree and provides its services to those in need at no cost. We here at New Legacy Homes, will continue to support Southeastern Guide Dogs through our endeavors.
New Legacy Family Foundation recently held its Inaugural New Legacy Golf Classic 2020 in support of the Southeastern Guide Dogs organization. New Legacy is committed to Southeastern Guide Dogs because of what they do for the comfort and support their dogs provide Veterans and Gold Star families.
This year’s Golf Classic had many levels of sponsorship opportunities ranging from dinner sponsorship package to the happy hour wine tasting entry. Each golf team and player not only participated in a fun game of golf but was also treated with great food and drinks during the day. Each player also received a gift package on behalf of their participation and support.
Of-course pups were welcomed on the golf course which took place at the Carrollwood Country Club. The event started with the bright and early 10:30 AM registration, then proceeded to the complimentary lunch and shotgun start shortly after. Happy hour started at 4 PM and the awards reception began after the games were over.
The event was a success as the New Legacy Homes Family Foundation raised a total of $25,000 to the Southeastern Guide Dog organization. We at New Legacy, know the joy and comfort that a well-trained dog can bring to someone in need. We chose this cause because we know a companion will give new life to someone and create a new legacy with their guide dog.
